Patient Care Assistant / Medical Assistant
Athens | Madison | Huntsville
Full-time (Alternating Weekends) OR Part-Time (Friday–Sunday)

What You’ll Do: Create an Inviting Experience
- Greet patients with confidence and warmth
- Keep patients informed about wait times and next steps
- Help reduce anxiety by communicating clearly and kindly
- Jump in to support front desk when needed
- Follow up with patients with urgency and care
Support Clinical Care
- Take and document vital signs accurately
- Capture patient histories, medications, and allergies
- Prepare patients for provider evaluation
- Assist with procedures under provider supervision
- Perform point-of-care testing (as trained)
- Help maintain smooth patient flow
Keep the Clinic Moving
- Turn over rooms efficiently
- Restock supplies and stay ahead of what’s needed
- Recognize when something needs attention — and handle it
- Speak up in urgent situations and get help when necessary
What We’re Looking For
- 1 year experience in urgent care, primary care, or ER preferred
- Someone who stays calm when it gets busy
- A team player who communicates clearly
- Comfortable with EMR systems
- Able to travel between Athens, Madison, and Huntsville as needed
- Available Friday through Sunday

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour

- Are you able to take manual blood pressure readings accurately?
- Have you given injections before? If so, what types (e.g., IM, SQ, deltoid, gluteal)?
- Are you comfortable performing blood draws (venipuncture and capillary)?
- Are you familiar with performing strep/flu/COVID testing?
- Are you able to work the following schedule:
Monday-Friday 8am-6pm
Saturday 8am-4pm
Sunday 8am-2pm
Rotating weekends as required.
