Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating CNC machinery and possess the ability to fabricate precision components according to specifications. This role requires attention to detail, technical expertise, and a commitment to quality.
Responsibilities
- Operate CNC machines, including milling machines, to produce high-quality components.
- Conversationally program directly at Hurco controllers, or using MasterCam
- Perform inspections using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines.
- Fabricate parts according to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Maintain equipment by performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting issues as they arise.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to production schedules.
- Document production processes and maintain accurate records of work performed.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a CNC Machinist with proficiency in operating CNC machinery.
- Familiarity with Hurcos is preferred.
- Strong understanding of machining processes and techniques.
- Experience using hand tools and precision measuring instruments.
- Knowledge of MasterCam programming is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
