Job Duties
- Manage and develop a team of approximately 5–10 electrical engineers, including workload planning, task assignments, technical support, and career mentorship
- Provide day-to-day functional leadership across active engineering programs
- Serve as a senior technical reviewer for RF and/or digital hardware designs
- Contribute directly to technical work when needed to support complex problem solving and product innovation
- Forecast engineering resource needs and support the hiring of internal and contract personnel
- Refine and reinforce internal engineering processes and product development workflows
- Lead formal design review activities and help ensure high-quality engineering output
- Support long-term technology planning and roadmap development
- Promote a collaborative, high-performance engineering culture
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline
- 5 years professional experience designing RF, microwave, and/or digital hardware systems at the circuit and system levels
- 2 years experience in an engineering leadership or team management role
- Experience working within a structured quality environment such as ISO9000 or AS9100
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and collaborate with technical peers
- Strong technical judgment with the ability to guide design work while maintaining team ownership
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
- Experience spanning RF, digital, and space-relevant hardware systems
- 5 years leadership experience with progressive responsibility
- Background with FPGA-based designs
- Experience presenting technical concepts or product introductions to customers or industry audiences
- High-impact leadership role within a technical engineering organization
