$72,000 - $82,000, DOE

JOB SUMMARY

As a Process Engineer in Manitowoc, WI, you will:

• Optimize production workflows and support new fabrication technology integration
• Improve throughput, quality, and consistency using hands‑on metal manufacturing experience
• Lead process development for laser cutting, forming, welding, and related operations
• Identify safety risks and implement solutions for a safe, efficient work environment
• Drive continuous improvement using Lean methods, data analysis, and root‑cause problem solving
• Support fixture design and implementation to improve repeatability and reduce cycle times
• Collaborate with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams on technology integration and capital projects
• Assist with new product introductions and ensure manufacturability in metal fabrication processes
• Work collaboratively with suppliers and Applied partners across northeast Wisconsin
• Contribute to projects that impact communities in Sheboygan, Manitowoc, and the greater Green Bay metro area
• Apply your skills in a dynamic environment that values ownership and innovation

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering required
• 2 years of engineering experience in a metal fabrication environment preferred; internships and co-ops considered
• Experience with laser cutting, CNC fabrication equipment, or sheet‑metal processes 
• Knowledge of fixture design, implementation, and optimization
• Experience in Lean manufacturing techniques, capability studies, process mapping, FMEA, and root cause analysis
• Creo and/or AutoCAD experience a strong plus
