ESTIMATED PAY RANGE
$80,000 - $90,000, DOE
JOB SUMMARY
As a Manufacturing Engineer in Faribault, MN, you will: work onsite to support and lead floor-level engineering projects, including equipment guarding, workstation repositioning, bill of materials (BOM) updates, and revisions to drawings and models; lead cross-functional engineering initiatives, mentoring junior engineers and coordinating with production supervisors to ensure alignment of safety, efficiency, and quality goals.be a hands-on engineer who is comfortable with active engaging in the manufacturing environment; collaborate with production teams; drive practical solutions that improve safety, efficiency, and workflow; drive continuous improvement projects using Lean, Six Sigma, or other structured methodologies to deliver measurable gains in productivity and cost savings, and work collaboratively with suppliers and other Applied partners.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering required
- 2-3 years of previous manufacturing engineering experience required
- Proficiency in Solidworks for updating models and drawings
- BOM creation and maintenance
- Ability to manage and implement floor-level projects, such as equipment guarding and workstation repositioning
- Familiarity with safety standards and ergonomic principles in manufacturing settings
