What are the responsibilities and job description for the Web Developer position at applied.valhalla.stage?
We are looking to hire a skilled web developer to build and maintain eCommerce websites for our clients. As in house expert, you will be responsible for liaising with the design team, setting up Magento 2x sites, building modules and customizing extensions, testing the performance of each site, and maintaining security and feature updates after the installation is complete.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide day-to-day second level support for internal and external users as required.
- Collaborate on the development and implementation of business initiatives as they pertain to Magento.
- Successfully manage all phases of the development lifecycle of the Magneto instance to satisfy business requirements.
- Plan, develop, implement, and support necessary site functionality with stock functionality, and commercial extensions with modifications as needed.
- Prioritize and proactively manage assigned support tickets.
- Document business and technical requirements.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated proficiency and 2 years of experience in developing business to business websites. Experience specifically with the official Magento B2B module and B2B eCommerce desired, but alternate web development environments will be considered equally.
- Common web technologies including PHP, HTML5, CSS, Java and Javascript is required.
- Experience using the Magneto technology stack: nginx, Composer, MySQL, ElasticSearch is highly desired.
- Working knowledge of .NET, ASP.NET, C#, and SQL Server is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science (or equivalent experience and education).
- Experience tracking and reporting on programs and project management skills.
