Title: Enterprise Architect
Location: Berkeley Heights, NJ / Alpharetta, GA (5days onsite)

As an Enterprise Architect, you are the bridge between executive vision and engineering reality. You will lead the modernization of a complex banking ecosystem, transforming a 12–17-year legacy of Java, .NET, and Mainframe systems into a lean, cloud-native powerhouse. Your success isn''t measured by the
diagrams you draw, but by the decisions you influence and the outcomes you deliver.
Key Responsibilities
· Strategic Influence: Navigate a complex matrix organization to drive architectural alignment. You must be able to win "hearts and minds," convincing senior leadership and engineering teams to adopt modern patterns without having direct reporting authority over them.
· Modernization Blueprinting: Define the path for "Application Re-architecture." This includes moving from monolithic banking cores to event-driven, domain-centric architectures.
· High-Stakes Presentation: Translate "Architectural Debt" into "Business Risk." You will regularly present to the CTO, CISO, and Line-of-Business heads, simplifying complex technical trade-offs into actionable executive decisions.
· Outcome-Oriented Governance: Move beyond "check-the-box" governance. Establish guardrails that empower developers to move fast while ensuring the bank remains secure, compliant, and resilient.
· Cross-Domain Orchestration: Synchronize the modernization of Apps and Infra. Ensure that when we refactor a payment service, the underlying Cloud Landing Zone and Data Strategy are ready to support it.
Key Requirements
· The Master Communicator: You possess world-class presentation skills. Whether it’s a
whiteboard session with developers or a formal deck for the Board, your "narrative" is always compelling and clear.
· Driven & Outcome-Focused: You are frustrated by "architecture for architecture''s sake." You are obsessed with seeing your designs running in production and delivering measurable business value (e.g., reduced TCO, faster MTTR, or increased deployment frequency).
Banking Domain Expert: Deep understanding of the BFSI landscape, including regulatory compliance (FFIEC/SOC2), high-availability requirements, and the nuances of core banking integration
