Job Title: Electrical Assembler
Position Type: Full-Time
Reports To: Production Manager
Job Summary:
The Electrical Assembler is responsible for assembling, installing, diagnosing, and testing electrical wiring and equipment to ensure efficient and reliable operation. This position requires technical knowledge and skill in interpreting electrical schematics and blueprints and utilizing hand and power tools.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Analyze blueprints, schematics, and drawings to determine optimal installation and assembly of electrical systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctioning electrical systems and components using test equipment and hand tools.
- Operate various hand and power tools, measuring devices, and testing instruments such as oscilloscopes, ammeters, and test lamps.
- Assemble, install, and test electrical wiring, fixtures, appliances, and apparatus following technical specifications.
- Program controllers and time meters to ensure proper operation of electrical systems.
- Follow all plant safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment.
Required Skills & Abilities:
- Strong ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing instruments safely and effectively.
- Familiarity with plant safety protocols and procedures.
- Attention to detail and technical accuracy.
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Additional technical education or an Associate’s Degree in a related field is preferred.
- On-the-job training will be provided under supervision.
Physical Requirements:
- Manual dexterity and physical stability required to perform precise assembly work.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
- Ability to stand or sit for extended periods during work shifts.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.33 - $26.61 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
