What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounting/Contract Management Specialist position at Applied Technology, Inc.?
APPLIED TECHNOLOGY (ATI) is a small business headquartered in King George, Virginia, that provides scientific and engineering support services. ATI has an immediate opening to provide accounting support to the ATI Controller and contract management support to ATI Contract Managers.
This is a part-time position but full time will be considered.
Requirements:
- BA degree in accounting (preferred) or business management
- CPA license or candidate preferred
- 3-5 years of experience; knowledge of GAAP, FAR, DCAA, and DCMA reporting requirements; understanding of DFAS payment processes is a plus
- Experienced with QuickBooks
- Proficient with complex Excel spreadsheets and reporting techniques
- Strong skills using MS Office (Word, Excel, Access)
- Excellent verbal and writing skills
- Must be a U.S. citizen and eligible for a Department of Defense security clearance.
