Responsibilities Include:
- Utilize ACEIT software to develop, maintain, and analyze cost estimates for DoD programs.
- Collaborate with program managers and financial analysts to understand project requirements, objectives, and constraints.
- Generate detailed cost models and conduct sensitivity analyses to identify potential cost drivers and areas for optimization.
- Assist in the preparation and presentation of cost estimates, reports, and briefings to senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Continuously update and refine cost estimating methodologies to ensure accuracy and relevance.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to collect and validate data, including historical cost data, technical specifications, and program schedules.
- Assess risks and uncertainties associated with cost estimates and develop mitigation strategies.
- Stay current with industry best practices and emerging trends in cost estimation and ACEIT software capabilities.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Active Secret clearance is required
- BA/BS, 4 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, or 8 years of directly related experience with proper certifications as described in the Functionally Aligned Job Descriptions.
The expected annual salary range: $140-160k. Salary is dependent upon the role and associated responsibilities, candidate's experience, and qualifications to include education/training, and key skills.
