Cost Estimator

We are seeking a Cost Estimator with expertise in ACEIT software to join our team and contribute to this important mission. This position is hybrid at Hanscom AFB.

Responsibilities Include:

• Utilize ACEIT software to develop, maintain, and analyze cost estimates for DoD programs.
• Collaborate with program managers and financial analysts to understand project requirements, objectives, and constraints.
• Generate detailed cost models and conduct sensitivity analyses to identify potential cost drivers and areas for optimization.
• Assist in the preparation and presentation of cost estimates, reports, and briefings to senior leadership and stakeholders.
• Continuously update and refine cost estimating methodologies to ensure accuracy and relevance.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to collect and validate data, including historical cost data, technical specifications, and program schedules.
• Assess risks and uncertainties associated with cost estimates and develop mitigation strategies.
• Stay current with industry best practices and emerging trends in cost estimation and ACEIT software capabilities.

Qualifications:

• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• Active Secret clearance is required
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a related field and at least three years of experience in the respective technical / professional discipline being performed, three of which must be in the DoD
• OR, seven years of directly related experience with proper certifications as described in the PWS labor category performance requirements, five of which must be in the DoD.
  
  
  

The expected annual salary range: $125k - $140k. Salary is dependent upon the role and associated responsibilities, candidate's experience, and qualifications to include education/training, and key skills.
