Applied Power has an immediate opening for Inside Sales / Customer Service to serve the Electrical Power market. Located in Lakewood, Colorado, covering the Rocky Mountain Region, selling MV & HV Substation, Power Distribution, and Transmission equipment. Customers base is Engineering Consultant, Utility, Developer, OEM and Contractor markets.
The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for tendering customer needs in an excited, courteous, and knowledgeable manner by phone and e-mail. Will work on a team handling customer inquiries, quotes, orders -- demonstrating problem solving and decision making. Important to make every customer interaction comfortable and memorable, maintaining a positive and professional demeanor with both customers and factories.

Objectives of this Role:
- Managing both our existing sales pipeline and developing new business opportunities
- Take a lead role in the development of proposals and presentations for new business materials, business opportunities and partnerships
- Identify trends and customer needs, building a short/medium/long-term sales pipeline in accordance with targets
- Develop strategies and positions by analyzing new venture integration
- Generate quality leads to expand our customer base
- Improve our time spent winning and closing sales
- Motivate the team, track performance, and report metrics
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- Hard skills
- Successful track record in B2B sales and negotiation
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Working experience with sales techniques
- Proficiency with data analysis, forecasting, and budgeting
- Proven ability to plan and manage resources
