We are seeking a skilled Jr. Network Engineer to join our team in Annapolis Junction, MD.
Requirements
We are seeking a Network Engineer to join our network engineering team. In this role, you'll be designing, implementing, and maintaining Versa Networks SD-WAN solutions. This will ensure secure, reliable, and optimized network connectivity across our distributed enterprise environment.
You Have:
- Experience with WAN optimization, application performance monitoring, and network security
- Knowledge of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VPNs, QoS, and firewall policies
- Knowledge of cloud networking, hybrid cloud architectures, and integration with public cloud providers
- Ability to troubleshoot complex network issues and provide root cause analysis
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
- HS diploma or GED
Nice If You Have:
- Experience with Versa Networks SD-WAN platforms in enterprise or large-scale environments
- Experience with automation tools and scripting for network configuration such as Python and Ansible
- Experience with network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds and Nagios
- Knowledge of other SD WAN platforms
- Knowledge of ITIL and change management processes

As required by local law, Applied Network Solutions, Inc. provides reasonable salary ranges of compensation for work performed in applicable states. Ranges are not a guarantee of compensation and depend on a variety of factors, including but not limited to contractual requirements, work location, years of experience, skill set, and education. Overtime is not guaranteed for this position.
The anticipated pay range for this position is $100,000 - $150,000 USD.
