Description: The Arc Madison Cortland is looking for 2 responsibility-driven Van Drivers.Part-Time Shift: 15 - 20 Hours a Week
SUMMARY: Drives non-CDL vehicle to transport passengers over specified routes to local or distance points according to time schedule by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Prefer high school diploma/GED; licensed appropriately for vehicle to be used, clean driving record, and responsible attitude. NYS Driver’s License with 12 months driving experience.

- Follows regularly assigned routes and schedules; immediately reports any changes to the Director.
- Exercises extreme care and judgment in driving habits.
- Maintains record keeping of: Passenger census and attendance, log of pick up and drop off times, and incidents occurring on vehicle.
- Notifies Transportation Office of scheduled passenger's absences and vehicle's condition.
- Assists passengers in entry/exit from agency vehicles or in transferring from one vehicle to another.
