What are the responsibilities and job description for the Outside Sales Engineer position at Applied Mechanical Sales?
We have an opportunity for an outside sales engineer in the local area to promote our boiler lines and HVAC pumps to mechanical design engineers and mechanical contracting firms. The individual we seek must have at least three years sales experience, excellent communication skills and a BS degree in mechanical engineering. This position is an all-encompassing sales endeavor including project identification, quotations, application engineering, and post installation support. The successful candidate will receive a generous compensation package with incentives and a car allowance and expenses. The company also provides a profit-sharing plan. We are a small niche type 26 old manufacturer’s representative firm located in Elmhurst, IL providing commercial and industrial heating equipment in the metropolitan area of Chicago. Applicants will only be considered who currently reside in our marketing area and have the education and job experience detailed above.
