HireArt is helping our client hire a Vehicle Assembly Technician to support the pre-assembly, kitting, and mechanical preparation of test systems for research and development (R&D) projects.In this role, you'll work with engineers to build and maintain test setups, organize materials, and ensure seamless project execution. You'll get to continue your professional growth through hands-on experience with test systems, fabrication techniques, and engineering processes, while collaborating with a team that values efficiency, precision, and teamwork.We're looking for someone that has 3 years of hands-on experience in mechanical assembly, test system support, or a related field. The ideal candidate will be eager to apply their expertise in mechanical systems, detail-oriented, reliable, and enjoy working in a fast-paced, technical environment.As a Vehicle Assembly Technician, you'll:Assist with pre-assembly, pinning, and organizing parts for builds, ensuring all materials are prepared for testing.Build, operate, and maintain test fixtures, setups, and related equipment.Perform mechanical assembly tasks, including working with hand tools, power tools, and light fabrication.Manage shipping/receiving and inventory for test components and equipment.Support troubleshooting and maintenance of test harnesses, cables, and enclosures.Document assembly procedures, part usage, and system updates to improve workflow efficiency.Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
