We are an in-office company, and our expectation is that employees primarily work from their Applied Intuition office 5 days a week. However, we also recognize the importance of flexibility and trust our employees to manage their schedules responsibly. About The Role
We are looking for a Software Engineering Manager with strong computer vision foundations and experience in reconstruction techniques who is looking to productionize cutting-edge research into our new neural simulation product. You will develop a first-of-its-class simulation product that will enable the next generation of data-driven autonomous vehicles. Your work will also position Applied Intuition as the most advanced vehicle intelligence supplier to the largest OEMs in the world.

The actual base salary offered to a successful candidate will additionally be influenced by a variety of factors including experience, credentials & certifications, educational attainment, skill level requirements, interview performance, and the level and scope of the position.

At Applied Intuition, you will:
- Build, manage and mentor a team of world-class machine learning and software engineers
- Develop a fast, scalable, and high fidelity neural simulator that will act as a playground to train and evaluate the next generation of data-driven autonomous vehicles
- Work closely with customers to define requirements and implement solutions for our neural simulation product
- Push the state of the art of multi-sensor 4D reconstruction, novel view synthesis and diffusion for dynamic scenes
- A Bachelor's degree in computer science, robotics, or related fields from a top institution
- 4 years working in the machine learning field
- 2 years of people management experience
- Experience with modern neural simulation techniques e.g. Gaussian splatting, NeRFs, Dust3R, and Diffusion Programming experience in Python or C
- Experience building software for technical end users
- Peer-reviewed research at machine learning conferences like NeurIPS, CVPR, ICML, ICLR, ICCV/ECCV, IROS, ICRA
- Experience using 4D reconstruction or diffusion in autonomous systems
- Experience evaluating and reducing domain gap between synthetic and real data
- Experience with classical reconstruction techniques e.g. VSLAM, SfM
- A Master’s degree or PhD in computer science, machine learning, robotics, or related fields
