Role Description
This is a full-time role for a Certified Welding Inspector based out of Olean, NY, on second shift. The Certified Welding Inspector will be responsible for conducting welding inspections, ensuring compliance with quality standards, and verifying proper welding procedures. Responsibilities include performing quality control and assurance tasks, documenting inspection results, and collaborating with teams to meet project requirements. The role also involves maintaining equipment and adhering to safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Welding Inspection and Welding techniques
- Experience in Quality Control and Quality Assurance processes
- Strong ability to conduct thorough inspections and document findings accurately
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Relevant certifications, such as Certified Welding Inspector (CWI), are highly desirable
- Previous experience in industrial or construction environments is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical education or training in welding is advantageous
Any additional NDT certifications are an extreme bonus! This current job has an MT and UT requirement. and having an inspector capable of performing all of the required tasks is great selling point for our client. and to the pay scale we can offer prospective employees.
