Responsibilities
- Coordinate conveyor belt /rubber product initiatives with Service Centers and Regional Managers
- Make rubber product / conveyor belt presentations to both internal associates and customers
- Conduct training for both internal associates and customers
- Make joint sales calls with the field sales staff
- Assist in the development of rubber product / conveyor belt data collection; interchange information, case histories, documented value-added benefits, and application data
- Partner in setting – and meeting/exceeding - sales target goals and execution
- Participate in installations and repairs
- In addition to technical responsibilities, the role encompasses defined business development duties, including fostering client relationships, identifying growth opportunities, and supporting strategic commercial initiatives.
- Help roll out new product initiatives with the rubber/conveyor belt product categories.
- Help develop new vendor relationships as well as strengthen current vendors.
- 3 years of proven technical lightweight conveyor belt sales and service experience OR belt service, fabrication, installation experience
- Strong aggregate plant knowledge would be preferred
- Use of proper English grammar, written and verbal
- Ability to read / understand technical drawings
- Work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Must be at least 21 yrs old
- MHSA Training eligible Part 46 and Part 48
- HS Diploma or equivalent
- Training or presentation experience, a plus
- Work independently and as part of a team
- Listening, negotiating, and effective questioning skills
- Ability and desire to quickly learn new processes and system
- Ability/desire to travel 1-3 nights/month
