- Travel to manufacturing facilities across the U.S. to perform on-site installations and integrations of automation systems.
- Mechanically and electrically assemble, install, and commission industrial automation equipment.
- Provide hands-on troubleshooting and technical support for automated systems, including mechanical, electrical, and software components.
- Collaborate with engineering and project management teams to ensure successful system deployment.
- Document service activities, installation procedures, and customer interactions.
- Train customer personnel on system operation and basic maintenance.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service during all site visits.
- Associate degree or technical certification in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Automation, or related field is preferred; High School diploma or equivalent is required
- Familiarity with PLCs, HMIs, sensors, actuators, and industrial control systems.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve issues in complex automation systems.
- Willingness and ability to travel 50–75% of the time.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid driver’s license.
- 2 years of experience in field service, automation integration, or industrial equipment installation.
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude; ability to read schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Exposure to and interest in robotic & vision systems
- Knowledge of industrial networking and communication protocols (Ethernet/IP, etc.).
- OSHA safety training/certifications
