Responsibilities
- Proactively expedite purchase orders for both stock and customer requirements.
- Maintain accurate expected ship dates on open purchase orders and inform sales team of any potential delays to customer orders.
- Update sales order dates and notes with current shipment information
- Compile, organize, and report vendor delivery performance to purchasing management and other key organizational stakeholders.
- Assist with miscellaneous duties and project as assigned by manager.
- Superior organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills used to establish and build strong relationships.
- Ability to communicate and collaborate with all levels of employees within the organization, as well as customers, vendors, and suppliers regarding the delivery timelines and impact to the business.
- Strong proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite, namely Excel, Word, & Outlook.
