We are seeking a reliable, eager-to-learn Calibration Technician I to join our team. This position is ideal for someone with a basic understanding of calibration and instrumentation. The Technician I will support calibration, qualification, and preventive maintenance (PM) tasks under supervision while adhering to PCI and client-specific policies and procedures. Key Responsibilities
- Perform calibrations, qualifications, and PMs with supervision, following accurate GxP documentation.
- Conduct basic pressure, temperature, humidity, time, and CO2 calibrations.
- Ensure safe handling and maintenance of PCI and client-owned equipment.
- Identify project supply needs and communicate to appropriate resources.
- Provide excellent customer service to develop client relationships.
- Maintain a neat and professional work area and complete timesheets and expense reports accurately.
- Travel to client sites for calibration and maintenance activities as needed.
- Basic understanding of calibration concepts, test accuracy, and safety requirements.
- Ability to perform basic calibration tasks on mechanical and electrical instrumentation.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Reliable, self-motivated, and a team player.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving record.
- Ability to lift moderate to heavy equipment and work in varying environments.
- A two-year degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience in Metrology, Instrumentation, Calibration.
