This position focuses on balancing cost, inventory, and service across AIT’s Distribution network by managing the ordering process for select suppliers.

Key Responsibilities Include
- Resolving errors in the ordering process
- Releasing purchase orders
- Managing returns processing
- Resolving invoice discrepancies
- Validating past due open orders
- Maintaining data integrity
- Assessing and processing special buys
- Managing new introduction order processing
- Supporting Service Centers with issues related to the DC ordering or stocking strategy
- Controlling processes through the effective use of reporting and exception reporting.
- Bachelor’s degree – Computer Science, Supply Chain, Engineering or Equivalent
- MS Excel experience preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- SAP experience a plus, purchasing experience preferred
- Solid problem solving / analytical skills
- Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
- Ability to effectively influence and impact across network at all levels in the organization
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to understand clients’ needs and help them resolve related issue
- Ability to use critical thinking.
- Ability to move around in work area
- Ability to communicate internally and externally.
