Client Partner
The Client Partner is responsible for driving business growth and achieving annual sales targets for our Software Business Unit inclusive of Emerson and AspenTechs’s Software Portfolio, while playing a key role in large-scale digital transformations, operational improvement and capital project initiatives.
Client Partner Responsibilities
Compensation: This role is anticipated to pay up to $200,000 with a mixture of fixed and variable pay. There is also additional update opportunity for strong result delivery. Prior work or industry experience as well as job-related education and unique skills will be taken into consideration when setting the wage rate.
Benefits: This role is able to participate in the standard benefit plan which currently includes Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, AD&D, Flexible Spending Accounts, Health Savings Account, 401(k) plan with employer match, Paid Holidays, Paid Time Off (PTO), and a 9-80 work schedule which provides a three-day weekend every other week on average.
Client Partner Working Conditions
Includes working primarily in a professional office setting, with occasional assignments outside the office and in the field. This position requires evening and weekend hours on an infrequent basis and will require travel with some level of overnight travel.

Client Partner

Client Partner Responsibilities
- Drive Software BU strategic business development and ecosystem partnerships throughout Emerson, AspenTech and Emerson Impact Partner Network.
- Develop and sustain strong relationships with enterprise customers, delivery partners, and technology providers.
- Apply comprehensive knowledge of partner network and sales strategies to drive alignment with Industry 4.0 initiatives, fostering seamless integration between operational technology (OT) and information technology (IT).
- Have a broad understanding of the Emerson and AspenTech Software portfolio to effectively align partner capabilities with integrated solution offerings.
- Evangelize partner solutions and capability across the sales organization, clearly articulating the partner value proposition while fostering proactive engagement with Applied Controls Account Team.
- Influence executive relationships as a trusted advisor with empathy and authentic care.
- Work closely with marketing, sales engineering and product management to deliver on pursuits, objectives and provide a voice of the customer.
- Establish territory sales plans and drive monthly pipeline reviews to ensure success.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate the technology landscape to identify emerging trends and market shifts that influence strategic direction.
- Advanced degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 5 years sales or consulting experience
- Fluency in industry trends with an eye on market insight, technical conditions, and future direction
- Demonstrated success in performing work and managing complex and/or software implementations
- Strategic individual who excels at solving problems and has a high-reaching spirit, capable of adapting to a fast-paced, changing environment.
- 10 years with coaching and leading high-performance sales teams (Preferred)
- 10 years of experience in achieving revenue through partner development of software solutions (Preferred)
- 10 years of success in software sales, engaging senior business decision-makers with executive presence that influences and builds trust among clients and partner executives. (Preferred)
