Overview
We are seeking a motivated Retail Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be helping customers pick out and decide on appliances for their homes. Customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers is our top priority, so anyone who enjoys talking to people and has a positive attitude would be a great fit. You will assist with sales transactions, manage inventory, unloading and testing new inventory, as well as help maintain the overall appearance of the store.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide assistance with product inquiries and purchases.
- Process sales transactions accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Maintain knowledge of current promotions, sales, and product features to effectively communicate with customers.
- Assist in organizing merchandise, and ensuring products are displayed attractively.
- Handle customer complaints or concerns professionally and efficiently to ensure satisfaction.
- Perform basic math calculations for transactions and inventory management.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and enhance the overall shopping experience.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills with an emphasis on phone etiquette when handling customer inquiries.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory counts.
- Familiarity with retail math concepts is a plus.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain an organized workspace.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
