Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Foodservice Appliance Technician to join our team as an independent contractor. This is an hourly-based 1099 contractor position offering competitive earning potential, including up to 25% commission. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing the Wesley Chapel, Florida area and delivering prompt, professional service.

Key Responsibilities

·      Diagnose, service, and repair commercial foodservice appliances

·      Complete service calls independently with precision and timeliness

·      Maintain consistent and clear communication with customers and internal teams

·      Provide comprehensive and accurate service documentation for all completed jobs

·      Coordinate effectively with dispatch and support teams to optimize scheduling

·      Mentor fellow technicians as required

Required Equipment Experience

Qualified candidates must possess experience servicing a range of commercial hot and cold foodservice appliances, including:

·      Ice machines

·      Steamers and dishwashers

·      Hot and cold well tables

·      Reach-in refrigerators and freezers

·      Combi-ovens, tilt skillets, and hot boxes

·      Deep fryers, slicers, and milkshake machines

·      Other common commercial kitchen equipment

Qualifications

·      EPA 608 Universal certification (required)

·      3–5 years of hands-on experience in commercial foodservice and refrigeration appliance repair

·      Demonstrated ability to diagnose and repair various types of commercial units

·      Excellent customer service skills and professional communication abilities

·      Strong work ethic and capacity to work autonomously

·      Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

·      Reliable personal transportation (travel required)

·      Must successfully pass a background check

·      Possess the necessary personal tools for the role
