Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated lead Appliance Technician to join our team! The ideal candidate has experience with appliance installation, is a hands on, quick learner, and is a problem solver. The Lead Appliance Technician will be responsible for safely receiving, storing, and transporting appliances and will be responsible for taking the lead on installing appliances.
Requirements
- Proven experience in appliance installation is required.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with moving heavy items and performing heavy lifting tasks.
- Familiarity with using a forklift for transporting appliances is preferred.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
Duties
- Safely load and unload appliances from vehicles, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Properly install appliances in customers homes.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their appliance delivery and installation.
- Operate a pallet jack and other equipment as necessary for moving heavy appliances.
- Maintain accurate records of appliance deliveries and installations, and parts used.
- Drive to various locations for appliance deliveries and installations, ensuring timely arrival at scheduled appointments.
- Adhere to safety protocols while driving and handling heavy equipment.
