THE OPPORTUNITY
This is not a traditional role. You will wear multiple hats -- on the sales floor, behind a camera, and in front of customers -- sometimes in the same hour. The owner of Appliance Shark will personally mentor you on content strategy and social media growth. What we need from you is the raw talent, the bilingual fluency, and the drive to run with it.
The right person for this role is someone who has been underutilized. You know you can do more. This is the environment where that gets proven.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
■ Assist in producing social media content -- filming, directing, and supporting video creation
■ Engage with customers in English and Spanish across in-store and online channels
■ Support the sales floor -- this includes physical work; must be able to lift 50 lbs
■ Capture live conversations in real time by typing fast and accurately as dialogue happens
■ Build and manage social media profiles and content calendars
■ Juggle multiple responsibilities simultaneously without sacrificing quality
WHAT YOU BRING
■ Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish -- spoken and written
■ Fast, accurate typing ability -- real-time transcription is part of this role
■ Proficiency with technology, smartphones, and social media platforms
■ Knowledge of TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube
■ A charismatic, people-first personality -- you light up a room
■ Natural sales instincts and comfort engaging with customers
■ Exceptional multitasking ability -- demonstrated, not just claimed
■ A self-starter mindset -- you identify what needs to be done and you do it
