Duties
- Diagnose appliance issues using schematics, electrical diagrams, and troubleshooting techniques to identify root causes efficiently.
- Perform repairs on various appliances including refrigerators, washers, dryers, and ovens, utilizing hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment.
- Install new appliances ensuring proper electrical connections, plumbing, ventilation, and mechanical setup according to manufacturer specifications.
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections to prevent future breakdowns and extend appliance lifespan.
- Operate company vehicles such as service vans.
- Communicate clearly with customers to explain repair procedures, provide maintenance tips, and ensure a positive service experience.
- Complete detailed service reports, work orders, and logs accurately to document repairs performed and parts used.
Requirements
- Proven experience in appliance repair or field service with a strong understanding of mechanical systems and electrical work.
- Ability to read schematics, ladder diagrams, and technical manuals for troubleshooting complex equipment.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, HVAC systems, plumbing components, and electrical testing devices.
- Knowledge of refrigeration systems and HVAC principles is highly desirable.
- Experience operating company vehicles such as box trucks or similar service vehicles safely and responsibly.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients.
- Familiarity with maintenance, repair operations (MRO), assembly processes, and equipment repair techniques.
- Ability to work independently in the field while managing multiple service appointments efficiently.

Pay: $22.00 - $34.72 per hour
