Appliance Repair Technician
We are looking for an experienced and reliable Appliance Repair Technician to join our growing home-service team. This role is ideal for someone who is hands-on, customer-focused, and skilled in diagnosing and repairing residential appliances.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair residential appliances including:
- Refrigerators
- Washers & dryers
- Ovens, ranges, and cooktops
- Dishwashers
- Accurately identify issues and recommend cost-effective repair solutions
- Communicate clearly with customers about diagnostics, pricing, and repair timelines
- Complete service calls efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship
- Collect payments and complete service documentation as required
- Follow safety procedures and company service standards
- Represent the company professionally at all times
Requirements
- Proven experience in appliance repair (minimum 1–2 years preferred)
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Ability to work independently and manage daily service routes
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Basic tools required (advanced tools a plus)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks
Preferred Qualifications
- EPA certification (for sealed system work)
- Experience with major brands (GE, Whirlpool, Samsung, LG, Frigidaire, etc.)
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
