What are the responsibilities and job description for the Building and Grounds staff position at Applewild School?
Applewild School seeks a full time maintenance employee for indoor/outdoor work. Able to lift 80 pounds as needed. Electrical, Carpentry, and plumbing experience a plus.
Job Requirements:
- Adhere to and promote safety standards as established by the School
- Punctual and dependable
- Organized, meets deadlines
- Proficiency in general maintenance techniques
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with students, parents, faculty, staff, and school leadership
- Successful completion of CORI (Criminal Offender Record Information) and SORI (Sexual Offender Registry Information) checks
- Clean driving record
- Comfortable working on ladders
- Snow removal
- Ability to operate and control machinery, tools, and equipment used in daily tasks
- Prefer at least 2 years of college.
