What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate Director of Admission position at Applewild School?
We seek a warm, outgoing, and organized Associate Director of Admission professional to join our growing school. We seek someone who will have the ability to affiliate and empathize with prospective parents interested in preschool through ninth grade, and an understanding of the developmental and educational needs of those ages. With the building of our new Athletic and Wellness center (pool, squash courts, basketball courts, etc.), we expect to also expand our day market. An ability to tailor messaging for different audiences is a must.
The Associate Director of Admission will welcome prospective families and care for them throughout the admission process. The ADOA will tour prospective families, field inquiries, organize and execute recruitment events, and support marketing efforts. The ADOA will also participate fully in the assessment and selection of students, and in the broader life of the school. This requires initiative, diplomacy, patience, and exceptional communication skills and includes the ability to articulate the benefits of an independent school education and the unique features of the Applewild program with conviction, authenticity, and persuasion. This is a great job for someone who loves working with families, is able to multitask, handle pressure and maintain confidentiality.
