Toddler Assistant Teacher – Appletree Preschool (Haworth, NJ)
Appletree Preschool in Haworth, NJ is looking for a warm, dependable, and energetic Toddler Assistant Teacher to join our team! This is a wonderful opportunity to support children ages 19–29 months as they explore, grow, and build their early skills in a nurturing classroom environment.
What You’ll Do:
- Assist the Lead Teacher with daily lessons, activities, and routines
- Support toddlers in developing early language, motor, and social-emotional skills
- Help with transitions, play, meals, and rest time
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and staff
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience working with toddlers or young children (daycare/preschool preferred)
- CDA or Early Childhood Education credits a plus (not required)
- Patience, reliability, and a caring, energetic personality
- Team player with strong communication skills
