Appletree is launching a financial planning and wealth management division. For 25 years Appletree Business Services has provided bookkeeping, business taxes, personal taxes and payroll to 230 small to medium sized businesses. Our clients ask for financial planning and its a very natural referral to pair with our accounting and tax services to better serve clients and be a one stop shop.
We're hiring a financial planning associate to help build this new RIA and service line. This first hire is a very unique opportunity to step into an award winning organization with a deep roster of clients to work with. This will be a hybrid role working from our office in either Londonderry, NH or Portsmouth, NH and working from home.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for wealth management clients
- Prepare the Financial Planning recommendations
- Collaborate with members from tax team to best serve the client
- Prospect for new clients and referrals from centers of influence such as bankers and attorneys
- Implement Financial Planning recommendations
QUALIFICATIONS:
- CFP® Certificate •
- Relevant Educational Background (Finance, Accounting or Business Administration)
- 3 years financial services industry experience
- Series 65 (or equivalent)
- Comfortable working with small business owners and building relationships
- Evidence of supervisory ability
