Our client is a manufacturing company in the Stafford, TX area who is looking for a Staff Accountant. This candidate will assist the Controller with AR, Journal Entries, and GL Account Reconciliation.
This is a contract to hire position that pays $25 / hr.
Candidates must come from a manufacturing environment to be considered.
- AR experience
- Assist with Journal entries, GL account reconciliation, including payroll and fixed asset management.
- Month-end and Year-end Financial reporting and analyzing
- Assist with Annual Audits
- Accounts Receivable duties including all Invoicing / Manual invoicing / Error adjustments; clean-up AR Aging report, customer interaction.
- Accounts Payable and other accounting functions as assigned by the Controller
- Bank reconciliation, cash flow reporting, and other accounting duties as needed.
- 3 years in Accounting in a manufacturing environment, strong AR experience Accounting software experience required. Bachelor's degree in accounting
- Strong MS Excel, and strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Accounting software experience required
- Federal & State Tax reporting (various states) a plus.
