What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Accounting position at AppleOne?
Our client, an established real estate brokerage client is seeking a Project Accounting Specialist. Job Responsibilities :
- Assist with the company’s transition from QuickBooks to Deltek, ensuring a smooth go-live process.
- Manage daily accounting functions and financial reporting.
- Utilize Deltek software to generate financial reports and manage accounting workflows.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, cash flow reports, and budget forecasts.
- Assist with contract and budget management, particularly with Master Service Agreements (MSAs).
- Ensure timely submission and approval of employee timesheets and coordinate payroll processing for 40 employees using Paycom.(you won’t be processing payroll).
- Work with external CPAs to ensure tax-related documents are accurate and submitted on time (you won’t be preparing taxes, but you’ll ensure all necessary information is available).
- Build and maintain financial reports to provide insights for management and stakeholders.
- Assist with some HR / Finance functions, including compliance tracking and administrative support.
- Maintain organized financial records and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Take initiative in identifying tasks that need attention rather than waiting for direction—be proactive and ask, “What can I focus on now?”
