Key Responsibilities:
Greet drivers and manage freight documentation at the receiving counter
Enter load sheet data into internal systems and generate freight stickers
Direct drivers to unloading zones and coordinate with warehouse staff
Monitor truck lanes and ensure smooth traffic flow
Communicate via radio and respond to customer inquiries
Maintain accuracy and professionalism in a dynamic environment
Required Qualifications:
Experience with Bills of Lading and freight documentation
Background in logistics or transportation preferred
Strong data entry and administrative skills
Confidence in radio communication and multitasking
Proactive mindset and ability to adapt to changing priorities
Work Environment:
Office-based role at the freight counter
Interaction with drivers, loaders, and warehouse staff
Fast-paced and high-volume at times; calm and quiet at others
Requires someone who is proactive, thick-skinned, and able to manage multiple communication channels effectively
