Logistics Coordinator

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Logistics Coordinator to support a logistics and import operations team in Greer. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in logistics, supply chain, office management, or administrative assistance who is looking to build a career in international trade and logistics. You will gain hands-on experience with import documentation, customs processes, and global shipping operations while working alongside experienced professionals.
Responsibilities
-Review and process import documentation including commercial invoices, bills of lading, packing lists, and certificates of origin
-Enter and maintain accurate shipment data in internal systems and customs software
-Track shipments and provide timely updates to clients and internal stakeholders
-Communicate with clients, carriers, and government agencies to support smooth import operations
-Identify and resolve documentation discrepancies or shipment issues
-Maintain organized electronic records and ensure compliance with import regulations
-Stay up to date on basic customs requirements, tariffs, and trade practices
-Collaborate with internal teams and customs brokers to ensure timely clearance of goods
-Assist with process improvements and support development of standard operating procedures
Qualifications
-High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred
-Experience in logistics, supply chain, office management, or administrative assistance
-Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks at once
-Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
-Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook
-Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly
-Interest in logistics, international shipping, or supply chain operations
