Overview:
A well-established law firm is seeking a Legal Secretary to support 1–2 attorneys in civil litigation matters. This is a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity ideal for candidates with a strong background in legal administrative support, particularly in business litigation and/or real estate law.
Responsibilities:
*Provide administrative and clerical support to attorneys
*Draft, format, and proofread legal documents and correspondence
*Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate court filings
*Maintain and organize case files, records, and legal databases
*Communicate professionally with clients, court personnel, and other legal professionals
*Assist with billing, time entry, and other administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications:
*Minimum 2 years of experience as a legal secretary in civil litigation
*Familiarity with business litigation and/or real estate law
*Strong organizational and time management skills
*Excellent written and verbal communication
*Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal case management software
*Ability to work independently and handle confidential information with discretion
