Dispatcher with HAZMAT and DOT

Experience: 3-5 years of experience in transportation, dispatch, or supply chain logistics, specifically with fuel, chemical, or hazardous material transportation.DOT/FMCSA Knowledge: Strong understanding of driver logs, Hours of Service (HOS), and commercial vehicle weight limits. Hazmat Certification: Deep familiarity with Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA) standards. Dispatchers often need or benefit greatly from holding a recognized DOT Hazmat Certification. Problem-Solving Multitasking: Ability to remain calm under pressure, make critical decisions during crises, and manage shifting schedules. Technology: Proficiency in modern Transportation Management Systems (TMS), dispatch software, and electronic logging device (ELD) tracking.
