Engineering Talent Sourcer – Semiconductor & Electronics Industry
Location: Portland, OR (Preferred) or Phoenix, AZ
Duration: 6–12 Month Contract Assignment (Potential Extension)

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Engineering Talent Sourcer to support the identification and engagement of highly specialized engineering professionals for large-scale semiconductor and mission-critical facility projects. This role requires a proactive sourcing professional with a proven background recruiting or sourcing within technical engineering environments and the ability to build strategic talent pipelines for complex engineering disciplines.
The ideal candidate has experience supporting engineering, architecture, EPC, or semiconductor organizations and understands how to identify, engage, and cultivate passive engineering talent. Previous experience supporting major A/E firms such as Exyte, SSOE, AECOM, Stantec, Page, DPR, Jacobs, or similar organizations is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strategic talent pipelines for specialized engineering and architectural positions.
- Conduct detailed market research, competitor analysis, and talent mapping to support workforce planning initiatives.
- Identify, engage, and nurture passive engineering candidates through targeted sourcing strategies and long-term relationship building.
- Partner closely with recruiters and hiring managers to understand technical requirements and calibrate candidate profiles.
- Provide market intelligence including talent availability, compensation benchmarking, and geographic hiring trends.
- Utilize ATS and CRM platforms, including Avature and LinkedIn Recruiter, to manage candidate engagement and sourcing activity.
- Develop sourcing strategies supporting current project needs and future workforce demand.
- Build relationships within engineering associations, technical communities, and industry networks.
- Deliver sourcing metrics, pipeline analytics, and hiring insights to recruiting leadership.
Required Qualifications
- 4–8 years of sourcing or recruiting experience supporting engineering, architecture, EPC, industrial, manufacturing, or other technical organizations.
- Demonstrated success sourcing passive engineering talent in highly competitive markets.
- Strong understanding of engineering disciplines and technical project environments.
- Experience conducting talent mapping, market research, and competitive intelligence.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to influence hiring decisions through market data and talent insights.
- Proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter and modern ATS/CRM systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous sourcing experience supporting Semiconductor, Electronics, Microelectronics, Cleanroom, or Mission-Critical Facility projects.
- Experience supporting Electronic Engineers, Electrical Engineers, Controls Engineers, Process Engineers, or Semiconductor Facility Design professionals.
- Prior experience with major A/E, EPC, or Design firms such as Exyte, SSOE, AECOM, Stantec, Page, DPR, Jacobs, or similar organizations.
- Hands-on experience utilizing Avature ATS/CRM.
- Experience supporting large-scale engineering project hiring initiatives.
