Talent Engagement Manager

AppleOne is seeking an experienced On-Site Talent Engagement Manager to support a high-volume light industrial client in Bapchule, AZ. This is a hands-on, on-site role responsible for managing the day-to-day temporary workforce, recruiting for all open positions, while serving as the primary staffing partner to client leadership.

The position is responsible for providing outstanding customer service and direct recruitment for all open requisitions.In addition, the On-Site Talent Engagement Manager will be required to wear full personal protective equipment (PPE) while in the production areas. These areas are outdoors, and the individual must be able to work safely and comfortably in full PPE during extreme weather conditions, including high temperatures and other environmental elements.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage daily attendance, timekeeping validation, call-offs, tardies, and schedule adherence for the workforce.
• Conduct new hire orientations, job walk throughs, and first day check ins to ensure worker readiness and understanding of job expectations.
• Perform regular floor walks to observe productivity, safety compliance, and worker engagement.
• Help develop and implement effective and result oriented recruitment and placement strategies.
• Coordinate order activity, monitor performance and manage revenue of assigned client in accordance with negotiated guidelines.
• Track employee sick and PTO balances.
• Responsible for maintaining and updating various Excel trackers to ensure accurate, real-time visibility into candidate submittals, interview activity, and onboarding statuses.
• Recruiting and directly filling a minimum of 50% of assigned openings, ensuring candidates progress through onboarding successfully start.
• Follow up on pay/bill related issues to ensure timely resolution.
• Meet and exceed personal productivity requirements.
• Responsible for ongoing training and development.
• Ensure an 80% of higher candidate interview attendance rate through effective scheduling, communication, and follow up.
• Coach and counsel associates on behavioral and performance issues, document and take corrective action as necessary.
• Act as the first point of escalation for employee relations issues performance concerns, or attendance challenges.
• Enforce and support all site-specific safety policies, PPE requirements, and OSHA guidelines by walking the production areas, which are outside, multiple times throughout the day.
• Other duties, responsibilities and efforts as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Experience supporting a high-volume, fast paced light industrial environment preferred.Previous recruiting light industrial positions is required.
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong interpersonal organizational and communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage large contingent workforces (30 ).
• Adaptability, flexibility and ability to maintain effectiveness during change.
• Ability to work flexible/extended hours when necessary, which could include weekends, stand and walk for extended period, exposure to nose, machinery and use of PPE as required.
• Strong attention to detail, including the ability to maintain consistently formatted Excel spreadsheets (font type, font size, alignment, spacing, and overall presentation accuracy).
