About the Company
Our client is looking for a Forensic Accountant to join their team located in Lake Worth, FL.
About the Role
Must be a CPA but do not have to have the forensic piece but need to have an interest in forensics. You will be preparing exhibits for things like divorce cases and presenting evidence on assets to convey financial evidence for things like distribution of assets, alimony, child support, etc. You will also be doing this for businesses as well. Will work hand in hand with attorneys and do a lot of divorce cases and PI cases.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the division of assets
- Do lifestyle studies
- Verify income to uncover and paint a true picture of what someone should pay out or be paid
- Prepare exhibits for the attorneys
- Sometimes will have to testify in court
- Forensics is a plus
- Will also do some business valuations
Qualifications
- Must be a CPA
