Position Summary
The Assistant Superintendent will support the Project Superintendent with daily field operations to ensure high-quality homes are delivered on schedule and in compliance with safety and regulatory standards. This role plays a key part in coordinating trades, supporting inspections, monitoring quality, and maintaining jobsite organization and professionalism.
This position is ideal for candidates with hands-on experience in residential construction supervision who are motivated, reliable, and growth-oriented.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with daily onsite supervision of residential construction projects
Monitor subcontractor performance, schedules, and workmanship quality
Participate in city, county, and regulatory inspections
Perform daily home walks to verify progress, safety, and cleanliness
Support quality control processes and warranty readiness
Ensure compliance with OSHA, SWPPP, and company safety procedures
Maintain accurate jobsite documentation and reports
Communicate effectively with superintendents, trade partners, and internal teams
Participate in after-hours and emergency on-call rotation once trained
Required Qualifications
Additional experience with homebuilders or tract housing
Familiarity with construction scheduling software and mobile reporting tools
Knowledge of building codes, inspections, and jobsite safety requirements
College Degree (preferred But Not Required)

Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience as an Assistant Superintendent or similar construction leadership role
- Experience in residential construction
- Professional demeanor and strong communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
- Valid California driver’s license with acceptable driving record
Additional experience with homebuilders or tract housing
Familiarity with construction scheduling software and mobile reporting tools
Knowledge of building codes, inspections, and jobsite safety requirements
College Degree (preferred But Not Required)
