Essential Roles And Responsibilities
- Patient-Centered Medical Care: Conducting comprehensive psychiatric/medical assessments, collecting history of present illness (HPI), and building individualized recovery treatment plans.
- Holistic Counseling: Guiding patients through their recovery journey, helping them understand their progress, limitations, and unique paths to healing.
- Seamless Documentation: Accurately mapping patient progress and collaborating closely with our Clinical Coordinator and Treatment Center Director.
- Patient Education: Empowering patients through health education and supervising safe medical self-administration protocols.
- Licensure: Active, unrestricted license as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) in the state of Louisiana.
- Certification: Board-certified through the ANCC or AANP.
- Experience: At least 6 months of experience in Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) preferred.
- Core Knowledge: A strong understanding of the disease of addiction, substances of abuse, and clinical signs of detoxification.
- Clearances: Ability to pass a standard drug screen and criminal background check.
