Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring they feel welcomed.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, providing recommendations when necessary.
- Serve food and drinks promptly, ensuring adherence to food safety standards.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and managing the cash register.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and condiments.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of orders and address any guest inquiries or concerns.
- Assist in training new staff members on guest relations and service protocols.
- Uphold high standards of customer service by addressing guest needs promptly and effectively.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the food industry or customer service is preferred but not required.
- Experience with a POS system is preferred but not required.
- Strong guest relations skills with an emphasis on providing excellent guest services.
- Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
