As a substitute employee, you are an "At-Will" employee. This means that your employment is temporary, intermittent or sporadic and does not provide an avenue to permanent employment. REQUIRED ON APPLICATION

2. High School Diploma or Equivalent required. Associates Degree Preferred.
3. Bilingual communication skills required
4. Supplemental coursework in education and one (1) year of experience working in an educational or academic program setting OR Any combination of education, training, and/or experience which demonstrates ability to perform the essential duties may be substituted for the required experience and/or education. (MUST show in education/work history on application)

REQUIRED IN ATTACHMENTS
1. Current DMV printout - MUST be within last 30 days (no older) - please see link under "Links Related to this Job" for CA DMV Printout website
2. Typing Test: adjusted/net speed 40wpm minimum on a 3-5 minute test (results must show name, WPM results and length of test) - online tests accepted
3. Letter of Introduction explaining your experience working in an education/academic setting OR working with children
4. Valid ADULT/PEDIATRIC First Aid and CPR Certification required: NO online courses; NO BLS (basic life support) cards, MUST include Pediatric (Child) training*
*can upload proof of registration in an upcoming, in-person CPR/First Aid class in lieu of card
REQUIRED UPON HIRE:
1. Valid California Driver License.
2. Certificate stating freedom from tuberculosis
3. Candidates selected for appointment are required to be fingerprinted at the employee's expense and must receive clearance from the DMV, DOJ, and FBI clearance before beginning work.
