Role Overview
As a BCBA at Apple Tree Autism, you will play a vital role in providing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services. You’ll support children and families by conducting assessments, creating and overseeing treatment plans, and mentoring team members to ensure high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervision & Training: Oversee programming, train Direct Support Professionals (DSPs), and provide mentorship to staff.
- Treatment Design: Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) and develop data-driven behavior plans.
- Implementation Oversight: Ensure the fidelity of treatment plans through supervision and data review.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other BCBAS families, care teams, and community partners to align on care goals.
- Compliance: Maintain timely and accurate documentation within platforms like Set Works and ensure adherence to agency and state requirements.
- Professional Growth: Stay current with continuing education requirements and apply the latest research and best practices in ABA.
Qualifications
- Education: Master’s degree in Special Education or a related human services field.
- Certification: Active BCBA certification with at least two years of experience (exceptions require approval).
- Skill Set: Expertise in behavior management, ABA strategies, data-driven decision-making, and strong communication skills.
- Availability: Flexible schedules.
- Transportation: Reliable, insured vehicle and current driver’s license (required for travel within Minnesota).
