Apple Tree Autism is seeking a passionate, innovative, and leadership-driven Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to step into a Clinical Director-track role within our growing center-based ABA program. As a Lead BCBA, you will guide clinical quality, mentor technicians, support families, collaborate with operations leadership, and play a central role in treatment planning and staff development. You’ll work side-by-side with the Director of Operations and Owner to create a clinic environment rooted in excellence, compassion, and true client progress.

What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities)Clinical Leadership
- Lead clinical programming and supervision for assigned clients
- Provide mentorship, support, and direction to RBTs, Behavior Technicians, and QSPs
- Ensure treatment plans are individualized, meaningful, and aligned with each child’s goals
- Maintain high standards of clinical quality and ethical integrity
BCBA Duties
- Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and skill assessments
- Develop behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and skill acquisition programs
- Oversee 97153 and 97155 services with timely, high-quality documentation
- Collect, analyze, and interpret clinical data to drive progress
- Lead monthly parent training sessions (EIDBI required hours)
Family Communication & Support
- Build strong, trusting relationships with families
- Provide ongoing parent coaching, updates, and collaborative planning
- Participate in intake decisions, transitions, and care-planning discussions
Staff Development & Training
- Train technicians in ABA fundamentals, behavior supports, and professionalism
- Provide performance feedback and assist in corrective action steps
- Support reinforcement systems and a healthy workplace culture
- Participate in staff onboarding and skill development
Operational Collaboration
- Work closely with Operations Leadership on scheduling, staffing, and client management
- Support center-wide initiatives and contribute to problem-solving
- Assist with clinical audits, compliance checks, and EIDBI documentation requirements
Leadership Growth Track (Clinical Director Path)
For the right BCBA, this role includes:
- Expanding into full clinical director oversight
- Leading other BCBAs/QSPs as the clinic grows
- Building clinical systems and improving service quality
- Strategic involvement in long-term planning and center expansion
What We’re Looking ForRequired
- Active BCBA certification in good standing
- Ability to supervise RBTs and provide high-quality clinical direction
- Experience working with children with autism and developmental disabilities
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Passionate about collaboration, learning, and mentorship
- Reliable, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, growing clinic environment
Preferred
- Experience in EIDBI or medical documentation
- Experience in center-based ABA
- Leadership experience or interest in stepping into a Clinical Director role
- Strong skills in crisis support, parent communication, and behavior planning
