NOW HIRING: Caregiver
Responsibilities of a Caregiver:
- Must be able to assist with bathing
- Must be able to assist with toileting
- Must be comfortable around bodily fluids such as urine, vomit, blood, saliva etc.
- Must be able to assist with transferring residents from wheel chair to beds, etc.
- Must be willing to work with older adults with special needs and may not be able to communicate effectively
- Must be willing to work with adults with cognitive impairments
- Must be willing to assist with grooming, hygiene, activities of daily living
Qualifications of a Caregiver:
- Must have a valid HCA or Caregiving experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living facility.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds at a time
- Ability to reach, bend, kneel, and stand for (sometimes) a long period
